anthoms Mbuma

We are honored to host Athoms Mbuma Nkanda, a Congolese Pentecostal evangelist, pastor, and renowned gospel music songwriter and performer, for a special Worship Concert on Wednesday night to kick off the start of the African Awareness Conference.

Athoms, a senior pastor at Philadelphie Cité d’exaucement church in Kinshasa, is affiliated with the Assemblies of God and has an impressive academic and musical career. After studying music at the National Institute of Arts (INA) in Kinshasa, he pursued further education in theology and Christian counseling, while also serving as a senior pastor and university lecturer. Athoms began his professional music career with the Gaël group in 1998 and is now their coordinator.
